A couple months back, I had the opportunity to write for an anthology. It was my first time writing a short story and I was incredibly nervous. I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to pull it off.
When I write, I like to get connected with my characters, to really feel their emotion and I wasn't sure I would be able to accomplish that in less than ten thousand words. To say it was a challenge is an understatement, but I took the challenge and ended up having a lot of fun with it. More fun than I thought was possible. I found myself thoroughly enjoying this lighthearted plot and was so excited to share it with my readers.
And now, I am able to share that short with you. A Midsummer Night's Sidhe is available for free through various major ebook outlets and I encourage you to pick it up, not only to read my story, but to read those of other authors who took the time to be included in this anthology.
